So I have been wrapped up in Photoshop all week. I recently got the program Photoshop CS4. I have some previous experience with this program but it was original CS and this was eight years ago. Wow that’s hard to believe… eight years ago I was a freshmen in high school. Then it was a class and now it is for fun. So here are a few things I did with the program in the last week.

When I’m not sleeping, eating, procrastinating, I am in class. After I got my BFA last year I decided to go right back into the trenches to get my MAT. This seems like the most logical and positive step I could make in my education. When I’m done I will be certified to teach art k-12th grade. This will give me a career I can be proud of and enjoy while giving me the time for my own exploration of the arts and to have projects for the summers. I just started a class this past Thursday and I was honestly dreading it. There have been rumors and talk that this particular class is the hardest of the education courses. So needless to say I was rather sluggish to accept my fate. However as I sat in the classroom and listened to the professor speak I could not help but be intrigued and enamored. The class basically consists of theories of research and how they apply to education; it is then our job to either conduct our own study or to do research on a study and to develop a plan of action. All of which culminates with a fifteen or so page paper. So im not scared… bring it on!
Things I need to do:
Do research on the local vineyards of Nova Scotia
Look for local Vineyards in New England
Make contacts and possibly request to help or intern
Get maps and info about land
Start planning a camping trip to the property (should be about a week long)
Look for a home brewing kit for wine (no time like now to experiment)
Inspiration for the week, we are closer to the natural world than we think:
(Just watched the Planet Green special about Christian The Lion)
that video is very powerful! now start making that homemade wine :)
ReplyDeleteUm, yeah...get busy with that little brother. It's legal now to ship wine to Texas, so...
ReplyDeleteLove ya.
